Daniel Lawrence Frost was born on August 13, 1982, in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed this life Sunday, February 4, 2024, reaching the age of 41 years. He was the son of Cynthia Wright and the late Joseph Lee Frost.

Along with his mother he is survived by: his wife, Valencia, and three children, Kane, Eliana, and Daniel Jr.; one brother, John Jones Frost; one sister, Amanda Frost Thompson; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen Lawrence & Sharon Frost, Emma Anderson and Marcia Faye Jay.

He was a man who loved God and country and was proud of being both a baptized child of God, and United States Airman. He was a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, serving with the RED HORSE squadron as a combat engineer. He was a passionate, charming, easy-going and loving man who enjoyed life, the outdoors and loved his family. He was friendly to every person and helped anyone in need. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024, between 6 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Frost-Hicks Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
