Dallas G. Koger was born May 28, 1938 and departed this life Friday, November 12, 2010 reaching the age of 72. He was the son of the late Oliver and Susie (Dobbs) Koger.

He is survived by: 1 son, Marty Koger of Monticello, KY; and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 sister, Helen Phipps of Monticello, KY; and 1 brother, Cecil Koger; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 5 brothers, Vestal, Eugene, Earl, Roger, and Michael Koger.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Parmleysville Cemetery. Full military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
