Dale Everette Smith, Jr. was born October 31, 1969, and departed this life Saturday, May 13, 2023, reaching the age of 53 years. He was the son of Arlene Bessie (Singletary) Smith and the late Dale Everette Smith, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: his wife, Samantha May (McGuire) Smith; his children, Jacob Sanders (Felicia), Whitney Wheeler (Randall), and Brandon Smith (Hailey); siblings, Rocky Lane Smith, Terry Allen Smith, Patrick Edwin Smith, and Steven Edward Smith, and Tammy Lou Smith; and 8 grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourns his passing.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Sandusky Cemetery.
