Dakota Barrier was born August 13, 1996, and departed this life Monday, November 18, 2024, reaching the age of 28 years. He was the son of Jerome Barrier (Angela) and Tonya Childers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by: two children, Kodi Brooke Barrier and Jaxxon Kade Barrier; three brothers, Dylan Lane Barnes, Grant Logan Keith and Garrett Loss Keith; and one sister, Cristin Childers; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
