Cynthia Diane Edwards was born August 31, 1961 and departed this life Tuesday, January 21, 2020 reaching the age of 58 years. She was the daughter of Mary Jane Keith and the late R. L. Jones.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by: two daughters, Tonya Bates Bell and Ashley (Lee) Edwards Whittenburg; two grandchildren, Parker Bell and Brycen Bell.  She is also survived by:  one sister, JoAnn Jones; and three brothers, Lloyd Jones, Everett Jones, and Roger Jones; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by: her father, R. L. Jones and her husband, Allen "Dooley" Edwards.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2020 between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
