Obituary
Cullen Yancey, age 64 of Monticello, KY, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.
He was born August 13, 1948 in Seco, KY; the son of Cymbaline (Pigmon) Yancey and the late Irvin Yancey.
He is survived by: his wife, Susan Yancey; his children, Renee' and Robin Yancey, Jesse Aaron Yancey; step-daughters, Amy Oakes, Abby Merlo, Shawna Collick, and Deanna Wallace. Also several grandchildren including Hannah and Jeremiah Collick, Jonathan Foster, and others along with many nieces and nephews; his mother, Cymbaline Yancey; brothers, Gary and Donald Yancey; and sisters, Linda Yancey, Debbie Yancey, Kay Vitatoe, Pam Gregory, and Donna Farmer.
In addition to his father, Irvin Yancey, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Paul Yancey.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Haist, and Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Full military honors were performed by DAV Chapter 105.
