Cosby West was born February 26, 1927 and departed this life Wednesday, May 4, 2016 reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late Joe and Laura West.

He is survived by: one daughter, Angela Preat and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, Charles West; and three sisters, Louise, Mary, and Betty; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Joe and Laura West, he was preceded in death by: two sons, Rodney and Joe West; one daughter, Wanda West; one brother, Oliver West; and one sister, Eula.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 8, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
