Cora J une Barnes was born May 5 th , 1960 , and departed this life on Sa tur day, April 29 th , 20 23 reaching the age of 62 years. S he was the daughter of the late Lester and Mable Ruth (Hill) Sullivan .

She is survived by: her husband , Rick Ba rnes; 1 son, Shane Flynn; 5 grandch ildren, Alexis Simpson , Kenton Flynn , Brayden Flynn, Ryl ee Lashay Lair, and Bryson Lair ; 4 brothers, Dewey Taylor, Lester Sullivan , Steve Sullivan, and Randall Hall; 5 sisters, Carolyn Marcum, Virginia You ng, Glenda Greer , Mamie Robinson, and Marilyn And erson ; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in de ath by : her first husband, K enneth Blane Flynn ; one sister, Barbara Dowdy ; one brother, Johnny Eaton ; and two grandchildren, S i dney and Madi son Flynn.

The family will receive friends on Tu e sday, May 2 nd , 2023, from 11 am to 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday , May 2 nd , 2023, at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel wi th Bro . Tra cy Humble off iciating . Burial will be in the Denney Cemetery.
