Conley Burnette was born January 8, 1946 and departed this life Friday, June 26, 2015 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Loftus & Opal Lee (Taylor) Burnette.


On May 4, 1964 he was united in marriage to Anna Faye Roberts and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by: his son, Ronald Burnette (wife Amanda); two grandsons, Jordan and Marcus Burnette; one granddaughter, Whitney Alvarez (husband Jesus); and two great grandsons, Daniel Isaiah Alvarez and Wyatt Lee Burnette; 4 step grandchildren, Dylan Young, Jessie, Tristan, and Austin Hutchinson; 2 brothers, Cecil Burnette (wife Betty), Carl Burnette (wife Nellie). He is also survived by: one brother-in-law, Roger Kidd along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Loftus & Opal Lee Burnette, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Anna Faye Burnette; one brother, Cleo Burnette; and one sister, Clara Kidd.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2015 after 6pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
