Cliff Schnake Lloyd was born November 25, 1960, and after a long battle with cancer, departed this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, reaching the age of 63 years. He was the son of (the late) Lyman Ellis and Marion (Schnake) Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Powell) Lloyd; 1 son, Patrick (Emily) Lloyd; 2 stepdaughters, Jessica (Josh) Hancock, and Leslie (Brandon) Lester; 2 grandchildren, Gavin & Maggie Lloyd; 5 step-grandchildren, Dalton & Kaleb Hancock, Bo, Corbyn, & Duncan Lester; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Christine Lloyd.

Cliff attended Howe Military Academy in Howe, Indiana as a teenager which influenced him to join the Army where he specialized in helicopter weapon systems repair. He was proud of his Native American heritage, which was of the Dakota Sioux tribe.

He attended Mt. Pleasant Fellowship in Monticello.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, between 2 pm – 4 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Fellowship with the Memorial Service starting at 4 pm. Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
