Claude Decker, better known as Junior, was born March 5, 1930 and departed this life May 15, 2009 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Claude Decker, Sr. and Elizabeth (Carrender) Decker.

He married Ruby West on December 18, 1951 and to this union 4 children were born.

He is survived by: 2 sons, Henry Decker of Bronston, KY and Danny Decker of Monticello, KY, 2 daughters, Elizabeth Foley and Anna Smith both of Monticello, KY, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 2 sisters, Leona Martin of Somerset, KY and Linda Robertson of Russell Springs, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Claude and Elizabeth Decker, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Ruby Decker, 1 brother, Ernest Decker, and 1 grandson, Brad Foley.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Sunday, May 17th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Monday, May 16th at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
