Claude Barnes was born November 16, 1921 and departed this life Monday, February 15, 2016 reaching the age of 94 years. He was the son of the late Loran and Rose (Michaels) Barnes.

He married Juanita Clark and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: two sons, Danny Barnes of Maryville, TN and Mickey (Lesa) Barnes of New Castle, IN; four grandchildren, Daniel and Levi Barnes, Andy Curtis and Stacey Riggins; and four great grandchildren, Zack and Zoe Curtis, and Rylee and Hunter Riggins. He is also survived by two sisters, Erma Burnette and Irene Price; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to his parents, Loran and Rose Barnes, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Juanita Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 between 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2014 at 2pm at the Walnut Grove Cemetery with burial to follow.
