Clarice Smith Huffaker was born May 8, 1934 and departed this life Monday, March 26, 2018 reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Earl Cornelius and Nettie Lee (Kelley) Smith.

She married David Cook Huffaker and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by: two sons, Harold (Melanie) Huffaker and Michael Nelson Huffaker; one daughter, Janet (Richard) Munsey; nine grandchildren, Ronnie Masters, Amy Henderson, Chris Huffaker, Cassie Munsey, Andrew Masters, Kellyn Martin, Morgan Munsey, Hannah Huffaker and Katelyn Huffaker; and six great grandchildren, Aaron Huffaker, Lyla Huffaker, Whyatt  Masters, Hailey Masters, Maverick Henderson, and Everly Grey Martin; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Earl and Nettie Smith, she was preceded in death by: her husband, David Huffaker; one daughter, Patricia Masters; and two brothers, Earl Lewis Smith and Archie Smith.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery
