Clanzy Brumley was born September 27, 1925 and departed this life Thursday, November 8, 2012 reaching the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late James and Martha (Honey) Poore.

She was united in marriage to Arnold Brumley and to this union 1 child was born.

She is survived by: 1 daughter, Marilyn (Charles) Barnes; 4 grandchildren, Angela Gibson, Charlotte (Jason) Necessary, Charles (Tracie)Barnes and James (Lora) Barnes; 6 great grandchildren, Courtney Barnes, Katy Beth Barnes, Chloe Necessary, Destiny Necessary, Jimmy Gibson, and Amanda Gibson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, James and Martha Poore, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Arnold Brumley; 1 sister, Araie Garrett.; and great grandchild, Faith Necessary

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Ed Spitzke officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
