Christine Blevins was born July 17, 1937, and departed this life Wednesday, July 19, 2023, reaching the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of the late Herschel and Amanda (Winfrey) Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Blevins (Patsy), Debbie Bertram (Doug) and Cathy Miller (Paul); four grandchildren, Brandy Stephens (Joe), Sammy Bertram (Katie), Casey Thompson, and Dr. Mandi Martin (Rance); seven great-grandchildren, Reeve Stephens, Ava Kate Bertram, Asher Bertram, Tanner Thompson, Keesha Thompson, Blevins Martin and Davis Marie Martin. She is also survived by:  two sisters, June Simison (Ronnie) and Linda Vrable (Alan); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Herschel and Amanda Hicks, she was preceded in death by: one sister, Zada Prior.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 23, 2023, between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
