Charlie Franklin "Junior" Winfrey, was born February 24, 1933 and departed this life Sunday, February 14, 2016 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Charlie and Flora (Turner) Winfrey.

In addition to his wife, Phyllis, he is survived by his daughter, Pam (Sam) Coffey; granddaughter, Jessica (Frank) Mason; grandson, Jacob Coffey; and great grandchildren, Levi and Emma Mason; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Charlie and Flora Winfrey; and two brothers, Bill Winfrey and Cecil Ray "Rod" Winfrey.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11am in the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
