Obituary

Charles Clifford Humble was born June 1, 1936 and departed this life Tuesday, January 25, 2022 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late James "Jim" Henderson Humble and Rosa Mae (Decker) Humble.

He married Maria Irene Barajas and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Maria Irene Humble; his daughters, Lori Humble and Lynda Humble; grandchildren: Andrea Elaine Motta, Melissa Lisette Motta, Giovanni Adrian Guijarro, and Olivia Guijarro; and great grandchildren: Zayda Elena Rojas and Zion Valentino Rojas.  He is also survived by siblings: Helen Marie Humble Sidwell,  Thelma Jean Humble Jackson, and Jimmy Ray Humble; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: Zelmer Humble, Carl Humble, Kenneth Humble, William Haskel Humble, Cecil Washington Humble, Ida Mildred Humble Bell, Linda Joyce Humble Davis, and Joyce Humble Davis.

Charles was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served his country faithfully.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 7, 2022 between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Stop Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
