Charles Lester Gainey was born November 10, 1979, and departed this life Friday, December 22, 2023, reaching the age of 44 years. He was the son of Juanita Gainey.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by 1 daughter, Kelsey Townsend; 2 step-sons, David and Chris Townsend, 1 brother, Frank Gainey; 2 sisters, Angela Farmer and Evea Brown; 1 grandson, Reese Watson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

There will be no public service.
