Obituary
CHARLES RAY DECKER was born December 10, 1913 and departed this life November 24, 2003 reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late Idd Decker and Mary Smith Decker.
He was united in marriage on August 8, 1935 to Mildred Mills and to this union 8 children were born.
He is survived by his wife – Mildred; and 8 children – Doris Brown, Betty Cox, Sandra Whitaker, Ruth Ard, Norma Clanton, Charles Decker, Harold Decker, and Fred Decker; two sisters – Alice Hall and Flora Lash, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Idd and Mary Decker, ten brothers and one grandchild.
He was a member of the First Nazarene Church.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Thursday, November 27 between the hours of 6 - 9 PM in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28 at 10:00 AM in the chapel.
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
