Charles Blankenship was born July 16, 1935 and departed this life Saturday, November 2, 2013 reaching the age of 78. He was the son of the late McKinley and Virginia (Gibson) Blankenship.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara (Duff) Blankenship; one son, Charles Edward (Pat) Blankenship; one brother, Chester (Carol) Blankenship; sister-in-law, Helen Barker and one step grandson, John Scott Billhimer. He is also survived by: his hunting buddies, Donald Brown and Arthur Durkee; and good friends, Carl and Bonnie May; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 5 – 7 pm at Steubenville Baptist Church. Masonic services will be at 7 pm, with the Eastern Star service to follow. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Steubenville Baptist Church.
