Cesar Mendez Velaquez was born June 6, 1963, and departed this life Friday, June 28, 2024, reaching the age of 63 years. He was the son of Maximo Mendez and Epifania Velasquez.

He is survived by: his wife, Marisol Lassalle Mendez; his children, Julissa Mendez Lassalle, Veronica Mendez Lassalle, Madeline Mendez Lassalle, Jesus Mendez Lassalle, Cesar Mendez Lassalle and Diana Lorenzo Lassalle.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dayanna Santiago Lorenzo, Jonhdriel Quintana, Lizbery Mar Moralez, Janeliz Quintana, Litza Marie Morales, Derelis Valentin, Jelier Quintana, Limarys Morales, Danielis Valentin, Yandial Mendez, Yankiel Mendez, and Josue Ramos; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family plans to take him back for burial in Puerto Rico at a later date.
