Cecil Hobert Weston was born May 1, 1922 and departed this life Monday, September 5, 2016 reaching the age of 94 years. He was the son of the late William "Bill" Silas and Myrtie (Choate) Weston.

He married Susie Neal and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by: four children, Lyle Weston, Billy Weston, Patty Stockton and Bobby Weston; 6 grandchildren, Paula Sutton, Shannon Weston-Corder, David Weston, Tim Stockton, Mandy Pyles, and Millie Criswell; 12 great grandchildren, Austin Corder, Adam Simpson, Logan Corder, Megan Stonewall, Lucas Upchurch, Kenzie Prince, Weston Pyles, Abby Stockton, Simon Stockton, Savanna Stockton, Charleigh Stockton, and Silas Hurt; 5 great-great grandchildren, Madison Simpson, McKenzie Simpson, Johanna Stonewall, Levi Simpson and Elijah Simpson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Bill and Myrtie Weston, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Susie Neal; one grandson, Andy Stockton; two great grandchildren, Andi Kirtley and Averi Kirtley; two brothers, Ray Weston and Carl Weston; and two sisters, Elizabeth Andrews and Eda Mae Kelsay.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Cabell Grove Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
