Cecil Hancock was born August 31, 1945, and departed this life Tuesday, November 14, 2023, reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Bessie Hancock.

He is survived by: one brother, David "Blue" Hancock; three sisters, Sheila Hancock, Neva Wilson, and Joan Loy; and special friends and caregivers, Tammy Bell and Brenda Chilton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Kenny, Jimmy Kay and Micky Hancock; and one sister, Ada Lee Burke.

Graveside and interment services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 am at Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
