Obituary
Cecil Guinn was born February 23, 1932 and departed this life Tuesday, November 22, 2011 reaching the age of 79. He was the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Mary Alice (Penticuff) Guinn.
He is survived by: his wife, Mary (Anderson) Guinn; 1 son, William Howard Daniel of Monticello, KY; 1 daughter, Joyce Hancock of Monticello, KY; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Grover Cleveland and Mary Alice Guinn, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Nathan Wayne Guinn; 1 daughter, Hazel Charlene Owens; 5 brothers, Walter, Luther, Hayden, Wendell and Grover Cleveland "G.C." Guinn; and 1 sister, Floy Guinn.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Eugene Dick officiating. Burial will be in Lockett's Chapel Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
