Catherine Diane Young was born June 8, 1953, and departed this life Friday, July 8, 2022, reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of the late, Omer and Gladys (Robbins) Horn.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Young; daughters, Angie Daffron and Alice Young; Devin Ray Young (raised as son); 1 sister, Elaine Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Albert Young; her daughter, Charlotte Young; 2 brothers, James and Marty Horn; and 1 sister, Shirley Bergin.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Piney Woods Mission Church Cemetery.
