Catherine Earls was born November 6, 1940 and departed this life Thursday, December 12, 2019 reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Rhoda (Brummett) Marcum.

She is survived by: one daughter, Michelle Earls; and one brother, Johnny Marcum; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: three brothers, Robert "Hall" Marcum, Dale Marcum and Bill Marcum; and three sisters, Ida Mae Lawrence, Marcella Godwin, and Carolyn Cain; along with twins siblings who died at birth.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
