Carolyn Hughes Koger was born May 15, 1944 and departed this life Friday, June 15, 2018 reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Menville and Flonnie (Dobbs) Hughes.

She married Cecil Koger and to this union 1 child was born.

She is survived by: One daughter, Lisa (Paul) Lowe; one sister, Lillian Smith; one granddaughter, Lanisha Phillips; one step-grandson, Tyler Lowe; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband Cecil Koger.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Sandusky Cemetery.
