Carolyn Hicks was born June 23, 1937 and departed this life Wednesday, August 29, 2018 reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Wallace) Grisamore.

She is survived by: her husband, Harold Hicks; sons, Samuel and Danny Johnson; daughters, Linda Lou Locklear and Brenda Guffey (Dillard); sister, Ruthanne Conwell (Rick); 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one son, Kenneth Johnson; one daughter, Cindy Merritt; and one sister, Georgia Crain.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 1 pm at the Old Bethel Church Cemetery. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Church Cemetery.
