Carolyn Decker was born July 25, 1952 and departed this life Friday, November 16, 2012 reaching the age of 60. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary May (Waddle) Haynes.

She was united in marriage to Rex Decker and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: her husband, Rex Decker; 2 daughters, Amy (Chris) East and Kristy (Josh) Coulter; and 5 grandchildren, Kalynn East, Cameron East, Brayden East, Yasmine Coulter and Aiden Coulter. She is also survived by: 4 brothers, Curtis, Kenneth, Harold, and Bill Haynes; 2 sister, Rosie Hamm and Helen Dean Waddle; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Howard and Mary Haynes, she was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Gerald Haynes; and 1 sister, Imogene Rose.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Burke officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
