Carol Jean Dishman was born May 5, 1971, and departed this life Tuesday, April 8, 2025, reaching the age of 53 years. She was the daughter of Shirley (Denney) Sanders and the late Edward Samuel Sanders.

She is survived by: her husband, Levi Dishman; her mother, Shirley Sanders; and six siblings, Sheila McGarry, Shanda Fuentes, Doug Sanders, Sharlene Prince, Lisa Duncan, and Vickie Mason; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, Edward Sanders, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Wayne Sanders.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
