Carmel Stinson was born December 2, 1944, and departed this life Sunday, April 16, 2023, reaching the age of 78. He was the son of the late Charlie and Addie (Looper) Stinson.

He is survived by: four daughters, Patty Massengale (Kenny), Sherry Coffey (James), Tina Young (Dennis), and Judy Dennis; one son, Randy Denney; 13 grandchildren, Cindy, Ginger, Tammy, Stephen, Shawn, Scott, Heather, Kendra, Nick, Tammara, Beth, Zachary, and Austin; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourns his passing.

In addition to his parents, Charlie and Addie Stinson, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Stinson; one son, Rick Denney; one grandchild, Rachel; and three sisters, Reba Neal, Letha Blevins, and Rener Kennedy Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, between 11 am – 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
