Carlina "Ginkey" Harrison was born September 6, 1943 and departed this life Monday, May 18, 2020 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Etheridge "Pit" Downs and Maud (Rednour) Crabtree.

She is survived by: two sons, Roger Wolsey (Dawn Byrd) and Gary Wolsey; two daughters, Jennifer Wolsey (James Smith) and Glenda Rhule (Ricky Rhule); grandchildren, Felicia Upchurch (Chris Upchurch), James Smith, Jr. (Tanesha Smith), Brianna Smith, Eric Rhule, Cody Rhule, Ashley Rhule, Miranda Holloway, Jared Gavin West, Tiffany Davis, Natasha Davis, and Jamie Smith; and great grandchildren, McKenzie Upchurch, Alexis Upchurch, Kizer Rhule, Kyleigh Rhule, Braxton Reynolds, Peyton Rhule, Danika Rhule, Onnika Rhule, Andres Lopez, Trenton Smith, Shawn Smith, Mason Smith, Makayla Foster, Angelina "Gabby" Ruiz, Cameron Davis, Evelynn Pop, Jessica Davis, Jacklyn Palma and Jasmine Davis.  She is also survived by:  one brother, Willard Downs; and one sister, Gladyce Dennis; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Pit Downs and Maud Crabtree, she was preceded in death by: five brothers, Levi Crabtree, Homer Crabtree, Earl Crabtree, Elsie Crabtree and Raymond Downs; and three sisters, Elizabeth Coffey, Minnie Dugger and Betty Sue Downs.

Carlina was saved at an early age and in 2006 rededicated her life and was baptized at the Christian Life Fellowship.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Denzil Jones officiating. Burial was in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
