Carla Dean Clouse was born on January 30, 1949, and departed this life on Thursday, November 28, 2024, reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Cecil and Ada Christine (Barnett) Fairchild.

She is survived by her husband, Audrey Clouse of Bedford, Indiana; 2 daughters, Wendi (Chris) Morrow of Mitchell, Indiana, and Kimberly (Philip) Lapatha of Winnipeg, Canada; 2 grandsons, Dustin and Jordan Hurt; 3 great-grandchildren, McKinlee and Asher (Jordan) Hurt, and Aydin (Dustin) Hurt. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Terrie (Gary deceased) Kendall, Sheila (Jerry) Gingrich of Monticello, KY, and Genia (Mark) Cole of Fredericksburg, VA; 1 brother, Marty (Joy) Fairchild of Monticello; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be expressed through donations to: Alzheimer's Association.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 03, 2024, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
