Obituary
Carl Poore, age 56, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Bertie (Clark) Poore; two sons Darren Clark and Timothy Brown and one daughter Stephanie Lane all of Lexington, Ky; three brothers Paul and James Poore of Monticello, and Freddie Franklin of Georgetown, Ky; two sisters Allene Johnson of Hamilton, Ohio and June Barge of St Bernard, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
The family would like to recognize and say a special thank you to honorary pallbearers; Darren Clark, Christopher Clark, David Barge, Jerry barge, Gene Atkins, Steve Hollars, and Timothy Brown.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 24th, 2014 from 11 am until 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, February 24th, 2014 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Carl Poore Memorial Fund.
