Carl Arthur Hill

A simple man who lived a simple life.

Carl A. Hill was born in Monticello Kentucky to George Riley and Mandy Cleo Hughes Hill on May 30, 1945. He departed this life January 6, 2024 being 78 years of age. Carl married Evelyn Victoria Robinson Hill on December 26, 1964.

He was survived by his wife Evelyn Victoria "Vickie" Hill and their children Roger Dale Lincoln (Christine) of Orange Park Florida, Carl Anthony "Tony" Hill (Ruth) of Monticello Kentucky, Thomas Riley Hill (Vicki) of Monticello Kentucky and Carol Sue Hill Cravens (Byron) of Campbellsville Kentucky. Grandchildren James Bryant Hill, Kayla Renee Brown (Jack), Elizabeth Ann Powell of Tennessee, Phillip Riley Hill (Ashley), Sarah Rose Hill of Georgia and Caitlyn Lincoln of Florida. Great Grandchildren Felicity Scarlet and Samuel Dean Brown of Monticello. The surviving siblings are Virginia Pauline Hill Martin, Doris Piercy, Harold Hill (Brenda) and Jean Denney. Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive across Kentucky and Indiana.

Proceeding him in death are both parents, and a brother Paul Hill (Sue), brother in laws Robert Piercy and Junior Denney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
