Callie Flynn

Callie Flynn was born October 29, 1935, and departed this life Tuesday, May 26, 2026, reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Deel) Oquinn.

She married Leamon Flynn on June 19, 1957, and to this union six children were born.

She is survived by: one daughter, Barbara Gregory (Jimmy); and one son, Ray Flynn; one brother, Danny Oquinn (Sheryl); and two sisters, Kay Oquinn (Ted) and Kathy Lyle (Goble); and sister-in-law, Wilma Flynn; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Laura Oquinn, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Leamon Flynn; sons, Robert Wayne, Kenneth Blane, Clayton Leon, and Roy Dean Flynn; and two great grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Denney Cemetery.
