Calista J. Wilkinson was born July 7, 1942 and departed this life Tuesday, May 17, 2016 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Sanford and Clela (Wells) Floyd.

She is survived by: two sons, Gary Wilkinson of Virginia and Lawrence Wilkinson of Indiana; two daughters, Calista M. Cook of Monticello and Brenda Norman of Indiana; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: two brothers, Jessie Floyd and Bud Allen Floyd of Kentucky; and four sisters, Lena Faye of Nancy, KY, Rosie of Kentucky, Gail Ann of Missouri, and Susie of Kentucky: along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by: one brother, Sammy Floyd; and one sister, Clela Miller.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2016 after 4:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 6 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will take place at a later date.
