Bryan Edwards was born July 27, 1969 and departed this life Tuesday, December 13, 2016 reaching the age of 47 years. He was the son of Jack and Jackie Edwards and Rick and Lillian (Dalton) Jernigan.

He is survived by: his wife, Lorene (Catron) Edwards; two sons, Blake Edwards and Harley McGinnis; three daughters, Haley Edwards, Tarisha McGinnis, and Brandy Hutchinson; and four grandchildren, Cailsyn and Kysen McGinnis, Heaven and Libby Hutchinson.

He is also survived by: his parents, Lillian and Rick Jernigan, and Jackie Edwards; two brothers, Greg Edwards (Anita) and Kasey Edwards (Sherri); and one sister, Michelle Grainger (Andy); and Theresa Edwards, the mother of two of his children; numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and an extended intertwined family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Edwards.

Bryan accepted the Lord as his savior as a young man. He loved his God, family, fishing, and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery in McCreary County.
