Bruce Goff was born October 7, 1927 and departed this life Thursday, April 21, 2016 reaching the age of 88 years. He was the son of the late Ray and Opal (Rankin) Goff.

He is survived by: his wife, Louise Goff; one son, Russell Goff; one daughter, Rita McIntyre; six grandchildren, Rochell, Chris, and Matthew Goff, Bryon and Scott McIntyre and Jena Scrader; great grandchildren, Rebekah, Kiely, Ian, Madilynn, Ellison, Ethan, Lane, Colt, Peyton, Zac, Xavier, and Knox; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ray and Opal Goff, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jack and Gayle Goff; and three sisters, Eileen Faye Dolen, Betty Jo Rhodes, and Joyce Orr.

Bruce was an Army veteran who served during the occupation of Japan. He retired from General Motors after working for 31 years. He enjoyed playing golf, liked to travel and loved his family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, 2016 after 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 3 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
