Bro. Lowell Thomas "Tom" Foster was born April 2, 1941 and departed this life Monday, November 8, 2021 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Thomas Jackson and Nellie (Burk) Foster.

He is survived by: his wife, Olive Foster; one son, Wade Foster (Martha); one daughter, Peggy Tucker (Roy); and three grandchildren, Aaron Lockridge, Nathaniel Foster, and Stephen Bell.  He is also survived by:  two brothers, Dempsey and Gleason Foster; and one sister, Jo Carol Koger; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by:  one sister, Elva Bell; eight brothers, Gale, Gib, Ray, Clifford, Curtis, Howard, Kermit, and Boyce Foster.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
