Brenda Sue McHatton was born June 3, 1951 and departed this life Tuesday, April 27, 2021 reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Effie (Bray) McHatton.

She is survived by: nieces, Michelle McHatton and Judy (Benny) Cooper; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
