Brenda Gay Catron was born on January 11th, 1964, to her parents William Leland Catron and Allene Dishman Catron. She passed away on November the 26th 2024 reaching the age of 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Allene, her brother Roger Lee Catron and special daughter Samantha Rigney.

She is survived by her sons Jackie Davis, Chris and his wife Felicia Upchurch, her daughter Misty Upchurch and Grandchildren who called her Nana; Bristol and River New, Haydon Antle, Mckenzie and Alexis Upchurch, Jordyn, Jacklyn and Kaisean Davis, Blakelyn, Korbin, and Halla McCutchen.

She is also survived by her sisters Mary and (Bill Crabtree), Penny and (Terry Hicks) Her Uncles Bob and Bill Dishman; Aunts Evelyn Dishman and Julene Brown, and many nieces and nephews she loved.  She was also survived by the love of her life and best friend Roger Allen Frost.

Brenda enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends, and serving the Lord. Her personality and smile captured the hearts of everyone she met. Her house was always full of love and kindness. Brenda wanted everyone to know she accepted the Lord as her Savior and was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist church in Somerset Kentucky. Her desire is for all her family and friends to come to know Jesus and accept him as their Savior.. She will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
