IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Boyce Gene
New, Jr.
May 25, 1982 – June 6, 2024
Boyce Gene New, Jr., better known as Junior, was born May 25, 1982, and departed this life Thursday, June 6, 2024, reaching the age of 42 years. He was the son of Boyce and Geraldine (Tucker) New.
In addition to his parents, Boyce and Geraldine New, he is survived by: his wife, Kendra New; his children, Rebecca New, Hunter New and Kenzie Whitehead; three sisters, Jeanie Phillips (Arthur), Cindy New, and Pamela Bell (Rickie Darryl); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
At an early age he accepted the Lord into his heart. He was a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church but also attended Green Hill Baptist Church.
Junior loved to go hunting and taking his kids with him. He liked to go fishing, to go 4-wheeling with his friends, and loved to go camping with his family. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone.
Junior worked for Premier Energy hauling fuel. He absolutely loved his job! He would have worked 24-7 if the dispatchers would have let him.
He loved his wife and kids more than life itself and always worked hard to provide a life full of happiness and love for them.
He always had a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Roberts Cemetery.
