Obituary
Bonnie Blevins Smith was born January 24, 1917 and departed this life Monday, June 16, 2008 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Will and Victoria (Miller) Blevins.
She married Earl Smith and to this union 8 children were born.
She is survived by: 2 sons- Roy and Richard Smith both of Monticello, KY, 5 daughters- Carolyn Troxell, Neva Smith, Vicki Winchester, and Dianne Rankin, all of Monticello, KY and Linda Mayne of Fayetteville, OH, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 5 brothers- William, Allen, Fournt, Earl, and Coy Blevins; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Earl, one son- Gary, her brothers- Howard, Walter, Gaines, and Clint Blevins.
Bonnie was a lifelong member of the Parnell Baptist Church and was active in community affairs. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 18th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, June 19th at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
