Bonnie Elizabeth (Lizzie) Winfrey Morris Stephenson, age 101, the widow of the late Arnold Stephenson, was born May 17, 1913 in the Parnell Community of Wayne County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Canzada Southwood Winfrey. She departed this life September 12, 2014 at Golden Years Nursing Home. She was the last surviving member of the Henry Winfrey family.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Morris, brothers, Charlie, Joe (Duck), and Cecil Winfrey, sisters, Nona Beechboard, Ethel Mires, Amanda Hicks, Eliza Fox, and Lullie Winfrey.

She joined the Parnell Baptist Church when she was a young girl.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 11 am-2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be held after 2 pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery, with burial to follow.
