Bonnie Lexie Huffaker was born December 5, 1919 and departed this life Tuesday, January 18, 2011 reaching the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Harve Ragan and Artie (Raines) Ragan.

She was united in marriage to Ernest Huffaker and to this union 3 children were born.

She is survived by: 2 sons, Donald Huffaker of Monticello, KY and Robert Huffaker of Lexington, KY; 4 grandchildren, Mike, Mark, and Matthew Huffaker and Cameron Noble; and 2 great grandchildren, Malachi and Ethan Huffaker. She is also survived by: 3 sisters, Georgia Ragan of Monticello, KY, Anna Lee Young, and Mary Burton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Harve and Artie Ragan, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest Huffaker; 1 daughter, Mary Moore; and 1 brother, Marshal Ragan.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 3 – 7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 7 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:
Gideon Memorial Bible Fund or Mountain View Baptist Camp.
