Bonnie Atkinson was born May 2, 1939 and departed this life Sunday, November 24, 2013 reaching the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Hazel (Guffey) Rednour.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Atkinson and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by: her son, Kenny Atkinson; her daughter, Rosanna Atkinson; 4 grandchildren, Misty Jones, Carrisa Pyles, Savannah Atkinson, and Daniel Pyles; and 5 great grandchildren, Stewart, Bryant, and Layne Jones, Hunter Wayne Pyles, and Matthew Alsip. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Bobbie Kay Rednour; and 1 sister, Willie Huffaker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth Atkinson; 1 brother, Billy Ray Rednour; and 3 sisters, Betty Bridgeman, Marie Askins, and Josephine Dalton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11am in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
