Bobby Ray Shelton was born June 9, 1981, and departed this life Tuesday, May 18, 2022, reaching the age of 40 years. He was the son of Danny and Peggy (Buster) Shelton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Laura (Powers) Shelton; 2 sons, Logan James Shelton and Brandon Blakely; 4 daughters, McKinzie, Dakota, & Tori Beth Shelton and Courtney Blakely; 1 brother, Corey Buster; 2 sisters, Candy Buster and Jennifer Shelton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2020, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Bobby Ray Shelton Memorial Fund.
