Bobby Joe Lair, Jr. was born June 3, 1965 and departed this life Saturday, December 7, 2019 reaching the age of 54 years. He was the son of Bobby Joe and Loretta (Guffey) Lair.

In addition to his parents, Bobby Joe and Loretta Lair, he is survived by: his sons, Coty Lair (Mariah) and Jacob Upchurch; his daughter, Chelsea Lair; and grandchildren, Bentlee Lair and Jaylee Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 between 5pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
