Bobby Everett Back was born December 2, 1929, and departed this life Tuesday, October 17, 2023, reaching the age of 93 years. He was the son of the late George Washington and Mary Emerine (Choate) Back.

He is survived by: two daughters, Tessy Bodner (Baron) and Leanne Casada (Leland); one sister, Norma Jean Back; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Wright (Roman), Kara Bugg (Kyle), Andrew Clark, Alex Cook (Brittany), Benjamin Cook, Dusty Huff, and Leah Duncan; and eight great grandchildren, Willow, Eleanor, Keland, Peyton, Harrison, Ethan, Carter, and Harper; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Betsy Lea Clark; one brother, Clarence "Dave" Back; and three sisters, Wanda Alene Hamblin, Hazel Johnson and Lucy Pauline Tyndall.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2023 between 1 pm – 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 3 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Charity Baptist Church Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
